Biography
John Kasadha, better known by his stage name John Blaq (formerly John Black), is a prominent Ugandan musical artist celebrated for his unique fusion of dancehall and afrobeat music. Born on July 16, 1996, in Uganda, he has risen to fame with a string of chart-topping hits and has become a notable figure in the African music scene.
Early Life and Education
John Kasadha's educational journey began at Lwanda Primary School and Hasan Tourabi Primary School, where he completed his Primary Leaving Examination. In 2012, he enrolled at Bweyogerere Secondary School, where he successfully obtained both a UCE and a UACE certificate in 2016 and 2018, respectively. These formative years laid the foundation for his future musical endeavors.
Musical Career
John Blaq's breakthrough came in 2018 when he released the hit single "Tukwatagane." His collaboration with Vinka on the track "Sweet Love," released in December 2018, further solidified his presence in the music industry. Notably, his first concert took place at Freedom City in Kampala on November 29, 2019, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Scottish singer and composer
John Black (c. 1520–1587) was a Scottish singer and composer active in the Middle Renaissance period. Black was based in Aberdeen, working as a singer and assistant organist, and eventually became Master of the Song School in the city. Black at first refused to give up Catholicism during the Reformation, but by 1575 had abandoned holy orders and taken a wife.[1]
Black wrote consorts and "lessons" on psalms as part of his work as a teacher, some of which are published in the Scottish manuscript The Art of Music, compiled in the late 1570s. A Pavan and Galliard dedicated to William Keith have also survived in Scottish manuscripts.[2]
